BurstNET Technologies, Inc.™ (http://www.burst.net), a leading provider of managed hosting services, today announced it has recently signed contracts with XO™ (http://www.xo.com) and Zayo™ Bandwidth (http://www.zayo.com) for 10Gbps Wavelength transport service on the BurstNET® network. This service will connect the BurstNET® facility in Scranton, PA to BurstNET® points of presence (POPs) in Philadelphia & New York City. Expected installation/turn-up date is August 2009. Following installation of this service, BurstNET® will have expanded overall network capacity eightfold in the past six months, since a complete network upgrade/overhaul commenced. Additional capacity/upgrades are planned throughout 2009, including the opening of a New York City POP with connectivity to the NYIIX peering exchange (http://www.nyiix.com).

• BurstNET® has completed turnup of 2.5GBPS Wavelength connectivity service with XO™ Communications, for transport service between Scranton & Philadelphia. This circuit is now live, and currently carrying traffic. BurstNET® has installed Cisco™ ONS 15454 optical networking equipment to provision this service. With the installation of this circuit, BurstNET® has nearly doubled the Internet transport capacity to the Scranton PA data center facility. Additional transport, transit, & peering capacity is planned for installation during the 3RD QTR 2009.
